Aristotle once said “the aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of thing, but their inward significance.”
My aim is to express my experience of a place or time or feeling of the moment;
to connect that experience with the viewer.
When that connection is made, I have succeeded in my work.

MEET THE ARTIST
Hi. My name is Connie Rigdon. As a Charleston based contemporary artist; I have been honing my skills in abstract expressionism for the last several years. Originally an architect, I have taken my love of the art of architecture and years of problem solving skills into my contemporary works bringing about a perfect union of my two passions.

“The meaning of life is to find your gift.
The purpose of life is to give it away.“
